Located near Medellin in central Columbia, the Santa Barbara estate was established by Don Pedro Echavarria almost thirty years ago. Don Pedro established the estate with a clear vision of offering the world a superior quality Columbia Coffee.
Since the Santa Barbara Estate is a completely integrated coffee farm (one of the few in Columbia) there is tremendous traceability and quality control during the entire life of the coffee. From the cherry on the tree to us here at Roast Coffee & Tea Trading Company the highest standards are achieved.
With average temperatures all year long ranging between 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit, a stable climate, high altitude, good volcanic soil, constant attention devoted to the coffee trees and bean quality, the Santa Barbara Estate continues to deliver excellence in coffee production year after year.
